I thought singing was not something I would ever be able to do until I came to your workshop.

Thank you for the gift of chanting...I was not a fan before, and now I can't get enough.
Sam Barnes, One World 2007

Throughout all my experiences at Katie's 'Voice of the Soul' class, I found a space of immense support and freedom. This space I find difficult to come by and made the most of it! We had so much fun, making all sorts of crazy sounds all across the spectrum. Along with the joy came the sweet sensation of intimate release, and many-a insight revealed. Thank you Katie. xxx

Joe and I loved and valued these weekly sessions so much; a beautifully calming hour of music, sound and song.  Singing songs from around the word was wonderfully refreshing, this is a music class for babies with a difference.  Katie is a great teacher and her passion shines through.  - Sarah Lindsay - Blissful Babybuds, 2010

Thanks so much for providing an oasis of calm in my busy London life. It really helped to create an environment where I could connect with my baby- Sarah

To be a part of Katie's Blissful Bumps group and to sing and share and listen to others was a magical experience.  I absolutely loved joining in the weekly sessions which encouraged me to reconnect with myself in these times of huge change and to connect with my growing baby.  The environment was nourishing and very nurturing and I always felt uplifted, peaceful and confident after the sessions.  I would highly recommend Katie's session to other women as a chance to sound out from the heart, and to empower ourselves as women - Jo Lee

The Tibetan bowl assembly was a hit(!) The children were fascinated and it was interesting to see how the sounds/vibrations  had a calming effect on the pupils. It would be an idea to try using a bowl in class to help focus and concentration!  They all wanted to have a go on the gong and talked a lot about it afterwards.

.. after 20 minutes or so, i gradually let go. And i started to sing really quietly. As the evening went on i got louder, and louder, and louder...
I really enjoyed it, and was buzzing on the train. It felt like real energy, real emotion. Not choreographed. i loved it.

Dear Katie, Thank you so much for your presence at the sound healing module held by the Holistic Healing College last December. Your spontaneity, laughter and easiness with which you expressed yourself made me think about my own voice and about how I can or cannot express myself. I spent the whole Christmas doing the sound healing exercices you taught us and I discovered that I have a beautiful voice and that I love singing. I also loved your CD, The Singing Tree which I was listening to over and over while painting one of my first pictures. I am grateful to you because your music helped me to find the way to my heart. May all your dreams come true. With love, Zuzana. xx

Katie was certainly the best thing about this module, she was a great teacher, obviously very experienced.  A confident facilitator whom I really respected.  She sensitively balanced the different needs of the group, and you felt safe with her.
Janice, The Sound Healing Module at The Holistic Healing College, 2009

Just wanted to say thank you so much for such a beautiful full moon chanting session last Saturday.  I've never liberated my voice quite like that before - you held such a beautiful space - it was truly inspiring!! I would also add that I felt so full of complete joy afterwards (that I danced around my living room for ages when I got home)

Katie is such a sensitive sound worker and really understands the connection between voice, emotion and spirit. In our voice session I was able to uncover areas of my body that were physically and emotionally restricted. I received clear psychic information during the exercises, and Katie holds such a safe space that I was able to really let myself go and be open to the insights my own voice had for me. Wise, intuitive, supportive and non-judgemental, Katie is the perfect facilitator for exploring the voice for healing and spiritual growth as well as vocal development. - Kay Gillard (2011)

When I go to a workshop, I want to be taken on a journey. I want to go from somewhere to somewhere and I want to trust the workshop facilitator to be my guide. I want them to have a map, but not grip on to it too firmly. Katie did this beautifully. There was a flow from one exercise to the next and my whole body was involved through sound, movement, words, drama and more. She stood back and allowed us to explore and then stepped in with her exquisite intuition to nudge us towards new places to look. I left the day with so much serenity, humming contentedly to myself all the way home.

Taking a session with Katie is you have the chance to surprise yourself.  Magical. It is taking a journey into yourself, & coming back a little wiser, stronger, compassionate, loving, the whole caboodle. And surprise (again), it is actually is fun. - Canan - Bilgi Paylasim, Istanbul 2008

I really enjoyed the group therapy with Katie and was curious to dive into the unknown parts of my voice. Our private session together helped me release a lot of repressed emotions while also giving me practical tools for the future. In her sacred presence, if you just give 100% and be brave to be yourself, the experience will transform you in many ways.

It is a great experience to learn more about my purpose of living (singing) and serving people with it.  You have given me the answers of the questions I have been asking recently how to server better with my singing to others.  Thank you a lot for helping me remember my home, joy, purpose.  I am full of joy as I shared it with you.
Gonca Gursen van Herpen -  Bilgi Paylasim 2010

Soon after The One World Camp I went to the mountains. I sang The River is Flowing, a chant I had learnt from you.  When I finished, I found these roots.  There was no tree trunk which would belong to those roots. No-body. Nobody.  I found it very symbolic and realised the power of your sessions. They have been giivng me a sense of being rooted and connected and a realization of freedom to choose the direction of my next steps... How powerful!!

One World Chanters Just wanted to say such a huge thank you for holding last night's group. It was so magical and perfect for me. You attract such lovely people with such lovely energies! I really reaffirmed some things last night about what I want from life and how to do it. And also really connected with a huge pool of gentleness and love..and trust - the perfect resource for change I feel.

Your new arrival music instrument [ocean drum] had an amazing effect on me. I could feel the waves growing bigger and washing over me. I could hear it and feel it. It was more than imagination I was on a beach almost like a little child being scared of the wave coming and just had to let it wash over me. I had to let go.... The gong was perspiring as well. I had a great evening.
