+ Spring Song! (27/02/2010 - 20:14:44)
+ February Love! (30/01/2010 - 00:18:29)
All You Need is Love - thats the song for February. Amidst the blatant
commercialism and cliches of Valentines Day lies a seed of truth -
Love is the foundation tone of reality.
As we pass through the
gateway of Imbolc, moving gratefully towards lighter days- we can
enter more deeply into the true romance - the re-union of the soul
within and without. Whether you are sufi whirling, dancing the tantric
path, yogically yoking your soul to the divine, saying Hail Marys,
singing AH to open the heart, travelling the Tree of Life or simply
getting on with Being You, the invitation into more love is present in
every breath. Reclaiming our inner-sense enables us to remember that we
are love and to express ourselves generously, creatively, flamboyantly,
divinely in the Grand Symphony of Oneness..
May this Valentines remind you that you are your own Beloved, that you are Deeply Loved and that your Love
is much needed and appreciated in this world! XXX

New Year and a New Decade dawns... a time to reflect - to look
backwards and forwards - like Janus - to lovingly release that which we
leave behind as we step through the gateway into 2010...
This time
of Initiation - when we make resolutions and commit to changes in our
lives - urges us to become leaders in our lives - mastering ourselves
inwardly so that our outward leadership becomes clear and bright.
True
healing, lasting change occurs when we have transformed the many levels
of our being by tuning in and listening for the resonance of our
heartsong.
This
may require a tuning out and letting go of old conditioning, thought
patterns and behaviours to make space for our true soul sound to
resound.
At this time when the magic of nature is happening
underground, we can dig deep in the roots of our being to find our true
needs, desires and intentions, and align with the authentic source of
our being.
Wishing you a bright, beautiful and insightful start to 2010 xxxx
XXX SOLSTICE BLESSINGS! XXX
In the deep winter night we celebrate the light
In the flames of the fire we find our hearts desire
In the branches of the tree we set ourselves free
In the roots of the earth we find our true worth
The light returns - and we begin our voyage towards Spring...
The Astrology of this Solstice is immense - Jupiter - planet of expansion and success, Neptune - spiritual and magical awareness and Chiron - the wounded healer - are all aligned in Aquarius, sign of innovative service to humanity. This Solstice therefore presents a gateway into new realms of being- an invitation to heal and dance into greater understanding of the cosmic whole. Following our dreams is no longer just a whacky motto but is now an imperative to live our truth - this is a powerful time to re-dream our reality.. to learn from the deep and difficult teachings of our personal and collective wounds and to draw out the 'Vein of Gold' (Julia Cameron) within and without...
For more Astro wisdom go to www.astrozo.com or book in to see Zoe, the resident Astrologer at Alchemy - she's amazing!

Advent
- the Adventure towards the Deepest Darkest Point of Winter - we
voyage carrying flaming torches towards Solstice. Like the Roman Feast
of Reversal, Saturnalia ,when slaves became masters for the day,
Solstice is an invitation to
seek out and celebrate the light within the dark and the dark within
the light. It is to the evergreens that we look for inspiration
midwinter - to the Holly with its bright red berry nestled like a
winter rose amongst the thorns, reminding us that beauty and the beast
sit side by side at lifes banquet, to the gift-bearing Christmas Tree,
the kiss bestowing miseltoe or the Buddha's Bodhi Tree whose leaves
whisper the wisdom of enlightenment.
Wishing you deep midwinter peace amongst the branches of the Tree of Life..xx
The wonderful things about saints is that
they were human. They lost their tempers, scolded God, were egotistical
or testy or impatient in their turns, made mistakes and regretted them.
Still they went on doggedly blundering toward heaven.
Phyllis McGinley, 1905-1978
I find this quote remarkably reassuring. Have just read Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramhansa Yogananda and found it absolutely mind blowing and very inspiring.
Not only are the Yogi's in it capable of extraordinary happenings - de-materialising and re-appearing at will, reading the future, providing insight into the deeper mysteries of the cosmos to name but a few - but they are also wonderfully human.
To celebrate our humanness is to allow ourselves compassion and to share in the huge crazy learning experience which is life on the earth plane. In our weakness and vulnerability, so I am repeatedly reminded, we find our strength. It is the courage to be in the midst of the chaos which makes sense of it all.
Wishing you a beautiful day!
